Editorial Policy
Students make important decisions based on what they read about results. Our editorial policy exists to make sure what they read on tnresult.in is accurate, clear and honest.
Principles
- Official sources first. Facts about examinations come from DGE websites, notifications, press releases and Government Orders.
- No speculation presented as fact. We do not publish rumoured result dates. Tentative dates published by DGE are always labelled “tentative”.
- No fabricated announcements. A result is shown as “Announced” only after we verify the official declaration and link to it.
- Original writing. We write our own explanations and do not copy other websites’ articles.
- Clarity for students. Plain English, step-by-step instructions, and no clickbait headlines.
- Transparency. Pages show when they were published and last updated.
How content is produced
An editor drafts each guide or update, checks every date, link and number against the official source, and publishes it with the source linked. When official information changes we update the page and its “last updated” date.
Independence
Advertisers and sponsors have no influence over editorial decisions. Advertisements are labelled and kept separate from result buttons and official links.
