TN Hall Ticket 2027

Last updated

A hall ticket (admit card) is your permission to write the Tamil Nadu public examination. It carries your registration number, which you also need to check your result. DGE issues hall tickets a few weeks before the examinations.

How you get your hall ticket

  • School (regular) students: DGE releases hall tickets to schools. Your headmaster or principal downloads them and gives them to you, usually signed and stamped.
  • Private candidates: download the hall ticket from the official DGE hall ticket portal using the application details you registered with.
Official DGE hall ticket portal (official website, opens in a new tab)

Steps for private candidates

  1. Open the official hall ticket portal when DGE announces the release.
  2. Select the examination (SSLC, HSE +1 arrear or HSE +2).
  3. Enter the application number and date of birth requested on the page.
  4. Download and print the hall ticket. Keep a spare copy.

Check these details

  • Name, photograph and signature
  • Date of birth
  • Registration number
  • Subjects and language choices
  • Examination centre

If anything is wrong, tell your school (or the DGE office or centre named in the private candidate notification) immediately, before the examinations begin.

Examination day

Carry the hall ticket every day of the examination, including practicals. Keep it safe after the examinations too: you need the registration number for your result, revaluation and supplementary applications.

See the SSLC time table and HSE time table.
