TN HSE (+2) Result 2027

The result has not been declared yet. This button opens the official result portal, where the result link appears once DGE releases it.

Keep these details ready

  • Registration Number
  • Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY)

Enter these only on the official result website. This website never asks for your registration number or date of birth and cannot show your marks.

Result page not loading? Troubleshooting tips
  • Heavy traffic is normal in the first hours. Wait a few minutes and reload, or try later in the day.
  • Check that the registration number matches your hall ticket and the date of birth is in DD/MM/YYYY format.
  • Use only channels DGE announces for the year (for example SMS to the mobile number registered with your school, or DigiLocker when announced).
  • Your school can also show you your result. Never pay any website to see your marks.

The Higher Secondary Second Year (+2, Class 12) public examination is conducted by the Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu. Its result decides college admissions, so it is important to check it only on the official website and to understand the next steps. The status above changes only after we verify DGE’s official announcement.

How to check the TN HSE +2 result

  1. Go to tnresults.nic.in (official website, opens in a new tab).
  2. Click the HSE (+2) examination result link for the March session.
  3. Type your registration number from your hall ticket.
  4. Type your date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format.
  5. Click to get your marks, then check each subject and the total.
  6. Save a copy for counselling and admission portals until you get your marksheet.

Registration number

Your registration number is printed on your hall ticket. Copy it exactly: a single wrong digit will return an error.

Date of birth requirement

Use the DD/MM/YYYY format (for example 05/09/2009). If your date of birth on the hall ticket is wrong, contact your school promptly so it can be corrected through DGE.

Subject-wise marks

The result lists each subject with its marks. For subjects with practicals, marks are made up of theory, practical and internal assessment components. A candidate must score at least 35 out of 100 in each subject to pass; see our passing marks guide.

Marksheet details

DGE usually releases provisional mark certificates online a few days after the result, and schools distribute original certificates later on dates DGE announces. In 2026 DGE issued a press release for March 2026 Higher Secondary certificate distribution. See the marksheet guide.

Revaluation and retotalling

You can first apply for a scanned copy of your answer script or for retotalling. After seeing the scanned copy, you may apply for revaluation. All dates and fees are in the DGE press release issued after the result. Read the revaluation guide.

Supplementary examination

If you do not pass a subject, you can write the supplementary examination in the same year. In 2026 the HSE supplementary results were published on 31 July 2026. See the supplementary exam guide.
